Our PR work is all about moving away from taboo and shame and towards communication and understanding. Only when there is sufficient awareness can the clamour for change grow louder. We want to create this awareness by encouraging dialogue and reaching as many people as possible through public relations work.
Prevention
Prevention is the best way to achieve sustainable change
Prevention work is part of our mission and very dear to our hearts. We intend to address and educate young people in educational, training and support facilities, thereby helping to foster a self-determined attitude and caring, respectful, non-violent interaction. We are convinced that prevention is the best way to bring about sustainable change.
Services for victims
Together not alone
You are not alone! As people afflicted by sexualised violence, we stick together and strengthen each other. Here you will be believed; you will be taken seriously, and no one will blame you. Our annual KO Community weekend provides an opportunity for companionship and support for victims on their personal paths of healing.
Political activism
The private sphere is political
Even today, there are countless structural and systematic grievances in terms of equality and the treatment of victims of sexualised violence by the police and the judiciary. That is why there is still so much to change at the political level. And that’s exactly what we’re aiming at.
