We are the non-profit Survivor Queen organisation<\/strong>. Most of us are victims and survivors of sexualised violence \u2013 or, as we like to call ourselves, Survivor Queens<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Even though you may not feel it right now, we are here to tell you that you are not alone<\/strong>. There are an awful lot of us, and we can tell you that it starts to get better when you embark on your healing path. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Today, we are the people we would have needed in the past, and we have created some material that we didn\u2019t have at the time, such as ebooks, podcasts and self-help material<\/strong>. Our mission is to provide support and information<\/strong> and give a voice to victims<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Together with our cooperation partner KO e.V., which works for victims of knockout drops among other things, we are working to ensure that trauma and sexualised violence lose their stigma and taboo. Sexualised assaults come in many different forms. They can be verbal, digital, domestic or emotional \u2013 and they are not isolated incidents. They occur everywhere and at all times. Recording your recollections and making them available for others to read is often a turning point. But the online archive is much more than a safe space for victims of sexualised violence. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The purpose of THE SIRENS COLLECTIVE is to raise awareness of this kind of violence, actively fight against it, and break down prejudice and shame. It stands up to violence, supports victims and gives them strength through a common voice. Contact<\/strong>: Post entry to the archive<\/a> We are very pleased about our new cooperation partner, the Munich-based tech start-up SafeNow,<\/a> which has developed a great emergency call app. The SafeNow app provides greater security in lots of different places, particularly night-time venues. Users of this free app have direct access to on-site assistance from friends, family or professionals (such as security personnel at clubs, festivals or train stations). The knowledge that you can summon assistance at the push of a button from anywhere on site has a proven positive effect on well-being. There are plans to incorporate a timer function for the emergency call (for example if knockout drops are suspected) as well as additional triggers in the form of physical buttons on keyfobs and bracelets, smartwatch integration and a smart card. <\/p>\n\n Pilot projects are already running with great success, such as at the Harry Klein club in Munich under the hashtag #WirFeiernSafe<\/a> and at the S\u00fcdkreuz train station in Berlin in cooperation with Deutsche Bahn and the police \u2013 and there is even political support for this<\/a>. \u201cI open the app, place my thumb on the blue button and release it. 3,2,1 \u2026 my mobile phone screen lights up red.
